Joan Crawford silk jacket - PDF pattern download

5.95

This jacket is inspired by the silver screen glamour of the 1930s, and in particular, the style of Joan Crawford. Unashamedly decadent in silk, it would not look out of place at a smart cocktail party or gliding across a dancefloor.

Knit flat from the bottom up, it incorporates a full peplum and nipped-in waist. It has three-quarter length sleeves, which are very full and gathered. A bow belt and a neat shawl collar which ties in front completes its vintage look.

The main body is knit in stocking stitch, (stockinette), with sleeve cuffs, front bands and collar worked in moss stitch.

A simple design for a knitter with a little experience. Full written instructions are given with abbreviations of special techniques.
